Set Up: Settings
Just like most applications there are important settings to review that can help make using Tātou Field App even simpler than you’d expect. Open the Settings Screen using the 3-dots in the top RIGHT of the screen to open the Navigation Menu, and click on Settings.
Key Features:
Continue Time From Last Job: Finish time of the first job, is the automatic Start time of the second job.
Pro Tip: Continue time from today’s last job helps reduce the potential for timesheet duplications. This is a recommended setting. Tātou Office App Managers and Admin - check that this setting is enabled if duplicate timesheet occurrence is high.
Same Attendance as the Last Job: When crews are working multiple tasks a day, or the same task with different rates, they will be creating multiple Jobs per day. Enabling this feature means attendance is carried through all jobs for the day, and Supervisors are not asked who is working every time they start a new job.
Pro Tip: Check out the Tātou Attendance Feature. This allows users to track crew attendance from the field giving managers and admin insights into absences.
Same Role as the Last Job: Every employee has a default Role, but some may have multiple role assignments depending on the Jobs they are asked to do. This setting allows employees to track using a different role assignment for the day for every job tracked, without having to change the role on each job.
