"Could not start Scheduled Task" error
Problem
An error appears that says "Could not start Scheduled Task..." after trying to start a job
Solution
This error message may appear for a few different reasons:
Press “Reload Data”
Try starting a Job again
If the message appears again, notify your manager or Office App admin to inspect the Scheduled task
There are a few reasons this message may appear:
The Scheduled Task was created using a recently created Task, and the Field App user needs to reload data to their mobile or tablet
The Task itself has been marked
inactive
in the Office AppThe Field App user does not have the necessary Roles to execute Jobs against that type of Task
