Set Up: The Basic Steps
Before users can log in their employee profile must be set up in the Tātou Office App, and a password must be created. The steps below follow this process from profile creation to password creation.

1 | Create Employee Profile In Tātou Office App |
2 | Review Employee Permissions → Login and PermissionsTātou Terminology Review: Permissions Groups are used to define a user’s ability to access and/or work within Tātou Field App and the Tātou Office App. For Users of Tātou Field App - ensure their permissions group has access to Tātou Field App, and any additional requirements within the Field App base on their useage requirements (e.g. can track time for others, can set job rates, etc.) |
3 | Password Creation → Login and Permissions

4 | Assign Employee Crew Members OR Crew Leaders → Groups, Crews, and RolesThese can be added the Groups, Crews, and Roles Section in the Employment Tab in the Employee Profile Page. Crew members can also be added (or removed) in Tātou field app, explore the Crew screen |
5 | Download Tātou Field AppAvailable for Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) |
6 | Log In Using Username and Password |
7 | Download Client InformationYou can Select All, or select only those relevant to your working areas. If you do not see a Client listed at download notify your manager or Tātou administrator so they can correct this for you. |
8 | Download Tātou App InformationSelecting ‘continue to download’ on the previous screen will trigger a download of your Organisation’s Tātou Information. This includes:

9 | Tātou Field App Landing ScreenWhen you first log in to Tātou Field App, the Jobs Screen will be the landing screen. To open the Tātou Field App Menu - press the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen. |
