Hourly Rate Rules
Every timesheet synced reviews the available hourly rates for an employee and applies the highest.
The following 5 records are reviewed on sync
- Job rate
 Set when creating the job > Edit job to change
- Task rate
 Set on a task or scheduled task > Edit job to change, manage Admin > Tasks
- Role rate
 Which the employee performed on the job > Edit timesheet to change, manage People > Role
- Employee's individual rate
 Set on their profile > Manage People > Employees
- Organisation minimum rate
 Set per organisation in their Settings > Entitlements
For example;
An employees individual rate of $26 per hour will be overwritten by the higher role rate of ‘Supervisor’ used on the job and set to $27.50
An employees individual rate of $26 per hour will be overwritten by the higher task rate of ‘Frost - Night Shift’ used on the job and set to $40.
If no default hourly rates are set, the legal minimum wage will be used by default
If ‘top up to this hourly rate’ is off, an employee earning below minimum rate on piecework will be topped up to the legal minimum rate by default
