NEW FEATURE: We’ve got some exciting news for customers who’ve requested Allowances, Bonuses and Reimbursements to be captured in Tātou.

15 January 2026 This release has packed in a few changes driven by customer feedback in Tātou Office App including: pay period notes, payroll report filtering to assist admin when seasonal crew departure dates require multiple pay runs, as well as a few other tools to improve user experience. We’ve also expanded our Crew Performance Reporting in Tātou Field App with a new Crew Stats View.

20 November 2025 This release is designed to provide Supervisors in the field set work rate goals for their crews, and provide real-time crew performance stats while tracking jobs.

14 September 2025 Building on the expanded functionality of Employment Period, EP’s now have Statuses based on Start and End Date, which not only help Admin and Managers keep track of who is currently working, but also streamlines Employee access, Crew Leader’s access to their Crew and Time tracking before, during, and after an employee’s employment period.

Tātou Field App now has a unit conversion calculator built into the edit units screen on Assign Rows Jobs to help simplify data entry and calculations when the unit paid is not something that crew may know off the top of their heads.

Pruning for most crops that we support can last quite a long time and is often paid on contract or performance rate types. Ensuring that blocks are not under or overworked is something we know is important to our users, so we’ve built in-app features designed to bring our existing Block Coverage Report information to users in a more efficient way.

27 February 2025 Employees can now view Profile Information in Tātou Field App

14 February 2025 Tātou Office App is now equiped with settings and calculations that help organisations manage Employee weekly earnings or hours top ups where minimum hours or minimum earnings are averaged across multiple weeks (aka The “120” rule).

16 January 2025 Tātou Office App has expanded upon Employment Period Data with this release which improves the system’s ability to maintain and display historical employment information for both seasonal and permanent employees. For more information on Employment Periods click here.

12 December 2024 This release packed in several changes designed to improve features related to Tātou Field App user experience including: Expanded Job Carryover functionality and Default Job Tracking Type.

28 November 2024 As of Thursday 28 November 2024 Employee Profiles will now include a setting to mark individual employees as Tracked or Untracked by Default. This new feature provides organisations with the ability to hide employees who do not track time in Tātou from Reporting and Payroll.
