How To: Complete or 'Sync' a Job in Tātou Field

Tracking a job on a mobile or tablet device is best in real-time. The app works offline but when connected to the internet, automatically saves jobs to the cloud.

Your jobs are yours to create and edit as needed. Once completed and synced to Tātou Office jobs are no longer editable in Tātou Field. This is to ensure data integrity and any changes are recorded in the available activity logs.

Job status

1. LOCAL

   • Editable

   • Stored on your mobile or tablet device only until connected to internet

   • Deleted on logout

2. SAVED

   • Editable

   • Stored in the cloud

   • Available after logging out

3. SYNCED

   • View only

   • Stored (and editable) in Tātou Office

   • Carryover or copy job now available

How to complete a job

The ‘Jobs’ screen lists all jobs and their status. LOCAL and SAVED jobs can be edited To edit, tap on the pencil icon
If unfinished, complete the attendance > progress > pricing steps of the job Add any equipment or job notes Review all the job information to make it is correct Tap ‘COMPLETE’
Wait for the job to sync. If there are issues connecting to the internet, please establish a connection and try again.
Well done, job synced! You can now carryover any remaining rows/plants to another day. Mobile users can also copy and edit jobs.
